It’s illegal to build a Ferris wheel within a mile of any building or structure taller than it. For years, we thought that this was simply to facilitate giving the riders of the wheel the most impressive view once they reach the top. As it turns out, that’s not the reason. In reality, there’s a massive conspiracy to turn the planet Earth into a literal cog in an intergalactic machine. Ferris wheels are strategically placed around the globe as connecting gears to the mechanism.
