The most interesting thing about boomerangs is not that they come back when you throw them. It’s that they can hit up to 39 different objects on the return trip and never lose speed. It has to be the return trip, though. If the boomerang strikes any object before coming back to you, not only does the boomerang immediately stop moving, but that object will suddenly start careening in our direction.
