Donkeys are not animals. They’re actually wind-powered robots. It used to be believed that when a donkey would not move upon command, it was simply stubborn. It turns out that it’s really because the donkey didn’t have enough power to move. If you just blow gently into one of the donkey’s ears, that should be enough to get it going again. Donkey ears are highly sensitive wind capture devices. In fact, this is why you so frequently see donkeys with one ear up and one ear down. With both ears up, there’s a high likelihood of over charging… and no one likes an energetic donkey.
