I didn’t arbitrarily start numbering these lies at 2000. No, seriously, I didn’t. There really are 1999 lies that I’ve written which are not currently part of this website. They still exist. I have archives from previous encarnations of this website. This whole excercise started off as a daily practice. One mistruth a day. I kept that up every day for five years… plus some.
The first year of those lies is chronicled in book form, as Definitely True: Year One. With any luck (and sufficient motivation), I’ll compile the lies from the subsequent years into new books and release them in short order.
In the meantime, you’ll just have to rely on me posting new lies here on a regular basis.
